A variety of techniques and handicraft skills
I have always enjoyed handicrafts. I learnt to embroider and sew at an early age from my mother. Since then I have also learnt the technique of bobbin-lace making and had the opportunity to visit the school in Idrija in May 2004, which I found inspirational.
Ana Marija was born in Melbourne, daughter of Slovenian settlers. From her mother she inherited the love of handicrafts, where she developed her own interests. She has received awards for her patchwork wall-hangings, has tackled copperwork, and produced a number of wall tapestries. Her bobbin-lace products are small and exquisitely made.
Vrsta tehnik in spretnosti v ročnih delih
Njene idrijske čipke so majhne in izredno lepo izdelane.
